Bookkeeper/Payroll Processor

Full-service tax bookkeeping and payroll office in Kearny Mesa seeking a part-time bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping and payroll for several small companies. Candidate should be well versed in QBOA and basic computer functions. Experience is required.
This position also helps answer phones when necessary and performs light administrative tasks if needed. Ideal candidate is someone who is looking to help grow this into a full-time permanent position. We are looking for someone long-term that would like to grow with us.

Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in an environment where priorities can change rapidly
Good time management skills and the ability to anticipate and manage a changing workflow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer analytical and mathematical skills
Attention to detail
Monday – Wednesday 10am-3pm (hours are flexible/increased during tax season). These hours will increase as the client base grows.
$15.00 per hour to start. Bonus available for bringing in new clients.
